Allow me to introduce myself:
I'm Jason Bequette, a.k.a. Ocean Tied. I've been fortunate
enough to enjoy a life of experiences both abroad and here on
the home soil - giving me an appreciation for all the different
cultures that make up our vast village.
My creative inspiration and sensibilities come from a mash-up
of Swiss minimalist greats and the west coast surf shop; the
hues of the ocean inspire much of my work.
Aside from this amazing adventure, I also work as a content
developer for TD Ameritrade, a fabulous firm located in
Omaha, Nebraska.
What's this "Naar Het Strand" business?
Simple really - In 1987, I became hopelessly enamored of the
sea while spending time in The Hague, Netherlands. Naar Het
Strand, in Dutch, loosely translates as "At the Beach". A
frame of mind, if you will; a philosophy of sorts.
